WORKWEAR MANUFACTURING

Custom workwear
manufacturing.

Custom workwear and duty apparel need a clear brief. Modern Gear Textiles™ brings fabric, fit, construction, and practical garment details into the same development process, from pattern work and sampling through production.

DEVELOPMENT & PRODUCTION

Start with the work the garment needs to do

Tell us who will wear the garment, how they move, and which details matter during their day. A reference sample or technical specification helps the team discuss pattern adjustments, pocket placement, reinforcement, seams, and closures.

01

Materials for the intended use

Review fabric composition, weight, finish, feel, stretch, and availability. Cotton, polyester/cotton blends, synthetic, and performance fabric options can be discussed against the requirements in your brief.

02

Movement and practical details

Work through measurements, proportions, ease of movement, and pocket placement during pattern development. Review the physical sample to see how the proposed details work together.

03

Construction and revisions

Discuss specialist seam, reinforcement, and closure operations with the manufacturing team. Sample revisions provide an agreed reference for the garment before production is planned.

04

Quality criteria

Agree the checks that matter for your garment and discuss any required testing during development. The quality control department supports inspection against those project requirements.

PREPARE YOUR BRIEF

PROJECT QUESTIONS

Before we begin.

Scope, feasibility, costs, and schedules are confirmed for each project.

Can you work from an existing garment?

Yes. Share an existing sample, measurements, or reference images and explain which features you want to carry forward or change. We can discuss pattern development and sampling from there.

Can you discuss testing requirements?

Yes. Include any testing or quality criteria in your brief. Requirements and the project scope are discussed during development and production planning.

Can you consider small workwear runs?

We can discuss small production runs and individual custom requests. Feasibility and minimum quantities depend on fabric availability, color, construction, and the garment itself.
